SHIVAK MACHINING

     I have been personally machining since 1978.  Shivak Machining was started in 1993.  M203 and M79 Mil spec. grenade launcher receivers and parts were produced manually on a Bridgeport mill up until the acquisition of CNC equipment.  In 1994, I purchased our first CNC milling machine.  Since then we have continued to increase our machine capabilities by upgrading our equipment and procedures.  Shivak Machining now has full 4 axis horizontal machining capabilities with pallet changer, full 4 axis vertical machining center, 2 axis CNC turning center, 4 axis CNC turning center with live tooling, and a 5 axis CNC Swiss lathe with live tooling.

     As a Class II firearms manufacture, I have been producing Mil Spec. M203 and M79 grenade launcher receivers and parts for the civilian marketplace as well as specialty 40mm adapters and barrels. 

     I have also produced various parts for the M-134 Mini Gun and MK19 40mm automatic grenade launcher as well as receivers for specialty guns.

     Our manufacturing facility is located in Elyria, Ohio.  I split my time between general contract work, military subcontracts and military trade shows where we are a vendor.
